Fredric Schiffer, M.D.

Dr. Fredric Schiffer has the key to treating past trauma and eliminating drug, alcohol and gambling cravings which most people suffer from for life.

Dr. Schiffer’s latest book, Good-bye Anxiety, Depression, Addiction & PTSD: The Life-Changing Science of Dual-Brain Psychology, takes an indepth look at the science behind Dual-Brain Psychology while offering practical tips and tools to try it for yourself. Our photos tell stories. But not scary ghost stories. I mean, like, the stories that dreams are made of. Like when the good guys triumph, and the bad guys get caught, and the slightly-nerdy guy captures the heart of the beautiful girl who was completely unaware of said slightly-nerdy guy's feelings for her until the end of the story. These are the stories we tell.

OF TWO MINDS

By fredric schiffer, m.d.

Most people experience themselves as two-sided: one side seems mature and stable, the other emotional and impulsive. But have you ever wondered if there really are two minds in each of us? If so, do traumatic as well as ordinary experiences affect the way our minds grow and interact? According to Fredric Schiffer, a leading Harvard psychiatrist and researcher, advances in science prove what many of us have always intuited is true: We are of two minds, each one with a different degree of maturity, and each one associated with the left or the right brain. This brilliant, provocative book illustrates how the interaction of these two minds -- whether they sabotage each other or work in harmony -- actually determines our psychological nature and ultimately the emotional problems or progress we may experience in life.
